Eastern Valley League

The Ael-y-Bryn Dragons team of Beth Roberts, Ashley Perry, and Alex OConnell, attended the AGM of Eastern Valley League on Thursday 15th of July where they were presented with their trophies by EVL President Mr Ray Watkins.

The presentation marked the end of an incredibly successful first season for the club in Eastern Valley League which saw Ael-y-Bryn remaining unbeaten throughout the season in Division 2 of the league.

Ael-y-Bryn won the Division 2 title, Handicap Cup, Division 2 individual champion (Alex OConnell), and Junior Runner up (Ashley Perry). The club will enter again next season, with its flagship Carl’s Carpet Services Team playing in Division 1 (with the organisers permission), and are hoping to retain the Ael-y-Bryn Dragon Team in Division 2 (dependent on the number of club players wishing to play).
