Supporters

The club has enjoyed the support of many organisations, this page lists them, in order to show our appreciation. Without their help the club would not be the success it is today, in fact it probably would’nt exist at all!

The Rhymney Trust
Many thanks to the trust for the donation it makes the club each year. The money makes a difference as it subsidises the hall rental. Because of this the players only pay £1 per session.

Rhymney Community Council
Again your contribution to the club is greatly appreciated, we could’nt break even without it. Also really nice to see you running table tennis during the summer for the younger ones – well done.

Communities First Trust Fund
You really came through with funding for equipment which has allowed us to run our own tournaments and provide some extra coaching for our players, many thanks

Pen-y-Dre Tenants and Residents Association
Thank you for the generous funding which allows us to run our closed tournament each year. All the players take part and nag me to get it organised. Lots of parents come to watch, it really is a great day.

Gwent Police.
A donation was part of the 1st CANDO initiative March 2006. With the money we managed to buy tables, which are still in use today. Diversionary activity (table tennis) is delivered at least 3 times a week now, community support officers regularly drop in for a chat with players, so it must rate as the best money the force has spent. Obviously none of this would be possible without the tables – Thanks.

UCATT.
Keith Williams secured £150 from the union for the club back in March 2006. It does’nt sound like a lot of money, but we had absolutely nothing at the time. The money ensured that the club kept going for a few vital months – Thanks.

Co Operative
Many thanks for the kit, this was our 1st team kit, it was fantastic to see our players dressed the same.

Shrievelty Police Trust
Thanks for sponsoring our 1st team in Junior Team Championships of Wales, I still cannot believe that we won the division.

Welsh Assembly Arson Small Grants Programme
Thank you for the funding which allowed us to run the arson project. 80% reductions in the number of fires is a spectacular success and shows that the money was well spent.

Caerphilly Information Services for Young People
Thank you for the donation to buy equipment, again it all helps to keep the club going.

Community Chest
Your funding will train more coaches for the club, many thanks, we have lots of young players who need coaching
